When you let fashion overtake history, you know reality is distorted.  I received my trusty newsletter from Oki-Ni today showing off their fantastic, new and inaccessibly expensive products - particularly their new Treks (retail: £225) View here.

Now, I know my mum bought a pair from Hallensteins (bad ass NZ school uniform shop back in the day) in the 80's for fifteen bucks. That's inflation with tassels on!

It's a simple equation:   Suede + Tassels + Time = Fashion.

Now, if I can just dust off the old trusty ones for winter.....
