Delete win 2 awards for Creature Discomforts

Posted 28 Nov 2008

Delete and Leonard Cheshire Disability were awarded Best Website and Best Communications Campaign for 'Creature Discomforts' campaign at the Third Sector Excellence Awards 2008 at the stunning Hurlington Club in London.

Delete’s work included the dedicated website and social media strategy for the campaign – delivering an unprecedented level of interaction with Leonard Cheshire Disability via www.creaturediscomforts.org

Delete Account Manager Roxanne Courtman was there to enjoy the flowing champagne - ‘It was tense before Best Website was announced, but once we heard we were the winners, our table erupted’.

Judge Dean Russell agreed the celebration was justified – "Overall, the judges felt the Creature Discomforts website experience was fun, engaging, highly imaginative and very effective".

Judith Barnard, Director of Communication and Campaigning at Leonard Cheshire Disability, gave all involved in the campaign ‘a big thank you’ and plaudits went to Delete for our ‘inspiring campaign.’

Our work with the charity goes from strength to strength, with more digital activity planned in 2009.
